YEAR ETWINNING REPORT
Our eTwinning project
titled "Technology with Nature: From the Present to the Future"
was carried out collaboratively by our dedicated teams and foreign partners,
focusing on the integration of technological advancements with environmental
awareness. The project spanned the academic year and was filled with rich and
purposeful activities. In October, we began by introducing our project
to all stakeholders, preparing a detailed calendar, distributing
responsibilities among teachers, and ensuring eSafety through awareness
activities. Parent permissions were collected, a project introduction video was
created, and partner contact details were exchanged. We also introduced our
schools, designed logos for the project, held an online kickoff meeting, and
used Pictramap to present our countries and locations. In November,
both students and teachers shared their thoughts about the theme and objectives
through Linoit, while cities, schools, and participants were introduced
in more detail during online meetings. In December, to promote
intercultural understanding and digital creativity, students designed New
Year cards and created word clouds with their wishes. Team lists
were finalized, and we explored World Water statistics, linking the data
to our project’s environmental goals.
In January,
students made presentations on how technology can support nature and combat
climate change. A 2025 calendar was designed as a common product,
incorporating messages about sustainability. Nature and climate change were
explored further through collaborative works, and both pupils and teachers
evaluated the project’s progress. In February, students created a
collaborative poem for Safer Internet Day, continued producing works
related to environmental protection, and teachers came together again in an
online meeting. March emphasized cultural heritage and environmental
awareness through a virtual Art Gallery of New Year cards and research
presentations on our countries’ historical fountains. Regular student
online meetings supported ongoing engagement. In April, students took
part in interactive Worldwall activities and contributed to the creation
of an eBook on Environment and Climate Change, showcasing how
technology can be a powerful tool for ecological protection.
In May, the
project’s cultural dimension was highlighted through a second eBook on Cultural
Heritage, and updated World Water statistics were analyzed in
connection with environmental trends. Teacher meetings supported coordination
of the final product, which brought all outcomes together. Finally, in June,
we celebrated the project's results by sharing them on social media and
distributing certificates to all participating students and teachers.
This project has been a remarkable journey of collaboration, innovation, and
environmental consciousness, uniting technology and nature to build a
sustainable future together.
